One Direction On the Road Again Tour || Honda Civc Tour Cleavland ||

Listen,
my fellow dreamers,

But listen with your heart,
And hear the silent music
Of which we're all a part.

Cover your ears, my dreamers
Lest the worldly tunes drown out
The inner magic symphonies
Of what life's all about.

Listen, listen, listen,
And hear the song of Love;
It's echoing within you,
Outside, beneath, above.

It's playing in the meadow
And in the city street;
Resounding in your friendships
And the stranger that you meet.

Listen, listen, listen,
To the symphony of Hope;
Its crescendo's growing louder
To help you grasp and cope.

It's drowning out the concert
Of trouble and of strife;
Just close your ears and listen
To this melody of life.

Listen, listen, listen,
To Faith's unending song;
There's magic in its music
To make and keep you strong.

Feel the mighty power,
It's flowing through your soul;
Its tune will conquer mountains
And fulfill your every goal.

Listen, listen, listen,
But listen with your heart,
And hear the silent music
Of which we're all a part.

       Hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of completely different people, strangers; but they aren't strangers tonight, they are your friends. A family. A Fandom. And you scream, for your band, you scream the lyrics that have saved you, taken you, to your happy place, so many times before. A whole new world. The lyrics did it again, between the stadium, the lights, and these lyrics you are taken to a whole other part of this world you've come to know, a spot that makes you forget; about the pain, about any sadness, about the struggles and everything else. There is no pain, the sadness has drained. There is no responsibility, and no regrets tonight. Everything is loud. But this is good, you can't hear yourself think; so you sing instead. And drain your head. Of anything and everything wrong, you’re lost in the song. And you are surrounded by, Hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of completely different people, strangers; but they aren't strangers tonight, they are your friends. A family. A Fandom.
The Concert Song -

I have waited 5 years for last night. My ears rang, my throat was sore, my toes were cramping, I had to pee for 6 hours strait, and yet it was the best night of my summer and defiantly one of the best nights of my life. Worth the 5 year wait!!! This is one of my favorite shots I took last night, Niall (left) and Louis (right) just pulled out of a fist bump.

          So our seats were nosebleeds and after getting food we went all the way up to the 5th floor. We then stopped at a little closed down stand to eat. The view was so pretty!
We were only there seconds when a security guard walked up to us (one of the 600 some) and asked us if we heard about the ticket upgrades. He explained that One Direction didn't sell out here in Cleveland so they had any tickets that didn't sell on the other levels be givin to those with nosebleeds. I was crying when I found out I got nosebleed tickets and I almost did again when they gave us tickets 7 rows away from the floor!!! $200 tickets for $20 a piece on groupon. We spend more on the band merch. then we did on the tickets, tee shirts alone were $40 apiece. We took my friend Caity to the concert (It was just Caity, my dad, and I), this being her first. She loved it almost as much as I did ;)

Between the pictures and videos I took I could make this post take up your whole feed; therefore I'm going to stop before I get too carried away. I'll finish this post by saying thank you to mom and dad for getting the tickets, dad for taking me, Caity for coming along, and to all the members of One Direction. You put on a great show last night and although you said thank you a gazillion times last night you will never really know how much I needed that concert last night, how much I and tons of other fans need and love you guys; for your music, for your shows, and not letting the fame get to your head.

Handmade Fan Shirt, New Shoes, New glasses, and a Fabulous Friend

I'm sure many of you have seen the movie "Pitch Perfect." In this movie Rebel Wilson stars as "Fat Amy." And I created this shirt based off a few of Fat Amy's lines within the movie (you'd have to see it to understand). However for me it's not enough to be a Fat Amy Enthusiast...so I made this shirt using stencils and fabric paint along with a $7 sweater from Walmart. It turned out great! (above the 01 is my last name and it turned out perfectly fine but I blemished it for Internet safety reasons)

 I am not a Jordan's fan. I prefer Nike or champion tennis shoes; however while my friend and I were yard saleing 2 weeks ago she found this particular pair for $1.25. They were worn one or twice if at all, they were still in the box increasing the value. The shoes were her exact size so she bought them because she loves the Jordan brand, but could never afford them. After some research I discovered that they were 2010 Jordan's, leather and suede exterior and memory foam on the inside. The original price was $230. To say she got the find of the year is an understatement. Go Breanne, I taught you well.

As for me, I scored two new pairs of shoes! The first pair (to the right) was $25 at Payless, on sale for $19. They're a 40s style, cream colored, lace, memory foam shoe and I'm obsessed with them. As far as my knock-of-brand-chucks go they were a must have. Typically I look at quality in a shoe, but this time the One Direction fangirl in me kicked in and I bought them not for quality but for looks. These originally $60 shoes were on sale for $45. The first time I tried to put them on they tore at the seem down the side... Looks like were going back to Kohl's for another pair.

 Let me start off by saying that I love my new glasses, not just because of the way they look either.
  • They weigh next to nothing and you don't even feel like they're on
  • The light charcoal goes well with my fair skin-tone (It's not as harsh as black)
  •  My vision span is bigger then it's ever been. All my life I've had narrow glasses but with these glasses it's like seeing the whole world for the whole time. I'll omit that for a while after I put my glasses on it was like just my eyes were on some kinda drug... again I had never had that much clear range of vision before ESPECIALLY under my eyes. I guess I had always accepted that past a certain point toward the ground it was going to be a bit blurry. Now that I can see every blade of grass, every elevated area, and every step I take it was actually hard to walk at first, haha.
  • No nose pads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good friends are hard to find in this world... especially in today's world. Breanne drove all the way down from PA (7 hours away) to come visit me for the second summer in a row.

I promised myself, swore, that I wouldn't cry but right after she left there I was with my make up all messed up because Goodbyes are always hard. Despite the logic there is no way you were up here for two weeks... It went by so fast. It's gonna be another long year without you friend; and it's sad we won't be going to high school together like we've talked about for so long. On the bright side it was nice to just hear a familiar voice. To be able to hug one of my closest friends again was probably the best part of my whole summer. And more then likely all of this year. And as I sat there on my front porch I wish you would've turned back in so I hug you one more time before another year here starts. But I know that's not going to happen so I'll just wish you the best with your school year too. Best wishes to you sis, I love you.
 <<< We broke a swing set

 You are never too old for dress up; so we decided to dress up from our favorite time periods. While she dressed up as a lady from the 80s I dressed up as a 40s pinup girl...

Happy endings

      Do u ever just dream. Like about your story followed by your "happily ever after". Not the cliché one where your knight and shining armor comes to your rescue or a prince chooses you over hundreds of other girls; I'm talking the kind where you live in the moment, care less about making the perfect memory and more about the people, your youth, and the factors that make you love the present. I'm talking about that moment where you discover who you are, what you stand for, your purpose. It's living for the now and not worrying about the future (but still dreaming). It's loving life and living on the edge but not being unrealistic. And it's finding the good characters and the bad for your story, but still managing to be your own hero. And that my friend is how you live your story to the fullest that's how how you have that non-cliché but still happy ending ↫

Teen Choice Awards

      Typically I'm really mature for my age but when it comes to music I guess I'm a total sucker for  boy bands, the very well known one One Direction being my favorite. I've been a follower of their band and music sense the X-factor; where Simon Cowell first got them together. Their voices give me chills and their music touches me. You can only imagine how proud I was when I heard that they not only broke a record for the show but they won 8 other awards. And to all the haters out there, for not having good music they sure cleaned up Sunday, yeah?
      As far as breaking the record goes the song No Control was the first song ever to win an award without becoming a single first. These are the rest of the awards. Congrats to the rest of the artist, actors, and celebrities... AND ONE DIRECTION!!!

Music

What is music to you?
Notes?
Lyrics?
Rhythm?
Beat?

All of the Above?
      To me, music has always been so much more then scribbles and symbols written on a piece of paper. Music is actually very different then poems; I like to think that the reason some poems are made into song lyrics is because they were never meant for paper. Like the paper physically couldn't handle the words written down so they were made into something more. Something the whole world gets to share, gets to relate too.
       It's funny how something you can't touch, can touch you in so many ways. Something you can't see can send you visions. And isn't it odd how a three minute song can make us think for hours, sometimes even days at a time.
      Music is the trunk of an ongoing tree. A tree with large limbs that  lead to tons of different variations, the "branches" of that style. With the main limb of Pop music comes the branches of Adult Contemporary, Brit-pop, Bubblegum Pop, Chamber, Pop Dance Pop, Dream Pop, Electro Pop, Orchestral Pop, Pop/Rock, Power Pop, Soft Rock, Synthpop,  and Teen Pop. With the limb of rock comes, Acid Rock, Adult-Oriented Rock, Afro Punk, Adult Alternative, Alternative Rock , American Trad Rock, Anatolian Rock, Arena Rock, Art Rock, Blues-Rock, British Invasion, Death Metal / Black Metal, Glam Rock, Gothic Metal, Hair Meta, Hard Rock, Metal, Noise Rock, Jam Bands, Post, Punk, Prog-Rock/Art Rock, Psychedelic, Rock & Roll, Rockabilly, Roots Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Southern Rock, Surf, Tex-Mex and Time Lord Rock. And the limbs along with their branches continue into the infinite music tree.
        Music has the power to make someone cry, smile, laugh, feel better and dance. People use music to heal, to advertise, to bring people together, and to express. Music is magic. The artist's are the magicians.
        It doesn't matter if you look at music like the impossible poems, or the touching untouchable, the ongoing tree, or magic; Music will forever be a part of everyone's soul. Will always be a part of everyone; whether it's their thumb or their backbone it's the one thing we have in common. The one thing that keeps our separate worlds close to our one big one. Music.
 .

All of the Above?
